Deciding on Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree is not as tough as many would think. However, carry on collective efforts to excel in this degree is not an easy task too. Therefore, the University of Auckland has set a minimum entry requirement for domestic and international students to ensure every student is well equipped with basic engineering knowledge in which the prime subjects are Mathematics with Calculus and Physics. New students to the university are normally nervous and puzzled with the happenings in the university. Faculty of Engineering can be one of the nicest faculties which provides incredible supports to all students including the senior undergraduates. STudent Engineer PartnershipS (STEPS) is a newly established scheme running by students for students. It gives full assistance to engineering students throughout the year. This year, our faculty has also established a Part 1 Assistance Centre to help the first year engineering students.
